FAQ
What is Coaching?
As defined by the International Coaching Federation, coaching is "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."
What is the Difference between Coaching, Mentoring & Consulting?
As mentioned above, coaching is a partnership with a client(s) in a creative process to maximize potential. Mentoring is a relationship where one person shares wisdom and advice to another. Consulting is a process using one's expertise to help a client address a problem and make recommendations for resolution.
Is What I share Confidential?
Absolutely! As an International Coaching Federation credentialed coach, I must abide by their Code of Ethics. Under ICF's Code of Ethics, a coach must keep a client's information and conversations confidential. If a client's coaching is being paid by a sponsor, such as an employer, any access to a client's information will be clearly stated in an agreed upon contract.
The only exception to this is if the client demonstrates an immediate harm to self or others.
